Police probe criminal damage at lawmakers' office

Police are investigating after the joint office of two Legislative Council members in Sau Mau Ping was splashed with red paint. Bill Tang and Chan Pui-leung share the ground-floor office at Sau Chi House in Sau Mau Ping Estate. Officers received a report from a security guard of the incident at around 6am on Thursday. The case has been classified as criminal damage and is being handled by the Sau Mau Ping District Criminal Investigation Unit. No arrests have been made so far. Tang said CCTV footage from the office would be handed over to the police, adding that he condemns all forms of violence.
